Question:

Is 50mm sound insulation enough?

tradein
24-Aug-2022

Answer:

A recommended minimum thickness of 50mm should be applied in stud wall applications. If you can go thicker, the additional thickness of the insulation will offer better levels of sound insulation. Please note doubling up on thicknesses will not result in twice the level of soundproofing.
