Question:

Do insulated plasterboards cause damp?

tradein
01-Sep-2022

Answer:

Ensure insulated plasterboards are correctly fitted. This includes all gaps filled to prevent moisture moving from the warm air in the room to the colder solid wall behind the insulation. This will present a condensation risk which can cause mould and rot.

Question:

How do you cut an insulated plasterboard?

tradein
01-Sep-2022

Answer:

Firstly, measure and mark the insulated plasterboard to size. Secondly, place the board on a firm higher surface to allow the saw to cut through the board. Thirdly, cut with a fine-toothed saw for precise lines.
